Coordinated partnerships in vehicle theft prevention are driving continued declines in U.S. stolen vehicle figures through 2025, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau.
The Oak Brook, Illinois non-profit, organized around identifying insurance fraud, is using National Vehicle Theft Prevention Month to make that case publicly and is issuing a broader call for action.
The full scope of that call was not included in the bureau's initial July 15 release.
