What the Warning Covers Bitcoin ATMs — physical kiosks that allow users to exchange cash for cryptocurrency — have become a documented tool in fraud schemes across the United States.
Scammers typically direct victims to these machines and instruct them to deposit cash, which converts to $BTC and routes immediately to a wallet the victim does not control.
