Revolut to Delist USDT After August 31, Converting Remaining Holdings Automatically

Revolut will stop offering USDT on its platform after August 31, citing regulatory and risk concerns, the company notified some customers.

Any holdings still in USDT at that point will be automatically converted into each user's base currency — no manual action required from affected account holders.

What Revolut Is Doing The fintech company has begun informing customers of the change ahead of the end-of-August deadline. The delisting applies to USDT, the dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Tether.

Revolut has not publicly specified which regulatory frameworks or risk categories drove the decision, but the dual citation — regulatory and risk — suggests the company is responding to both compliance pressure and its own internal assessment of the asset.
