Ondo Finance Tokenizes BlackRock IVV ETF and Micron Shares in U.S. Custodial First, Broadridge to Integrate Governance

Ondo Finance, ranked first among tokenized-securities platforms by total value, has launched the first custodial tokenized securities in the United States, placing BlackRock's iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) and Micron Technology (MU) shares on a public blockchain through a third-party custodial structure.

Broadridge Financial Solutions has agreed to integrate governance capabilities into the Ondo platform as part of the rollout.

First Third-Party Tokenization of U.S.-Listed Equities on a Public Chain The structural distinction at the center of this milestone: U.S.-listed securities have been tokenized by a third party on a public blockchain for the first time — not by an issuer acting on a proprietary or permissioned system.

The two securities chosen for the initial launch are IVV, BlackRock's iShares Core S&P 500 index fund, and MU, Micron Technology's common stock.
