EthSystems was founded by the team behind the Institutional Privacy Task Force at the Ethereum Foundation, and the company is building privacy and compliance technology for institutions operating on the network.
Founding team's origins inside the Ethereum Foundation The team at EthSystems came out of the Ethereum Foundation's Institutional Privacy Task Force, the body that worked on privacy questions from inside the protocol's core organization.
That lineage is the clearest element of this announcement. The founders worked on institutional privacy at the Foundation, then went out to build product around it.
