A four-year, $273 million maximum extension keeps Donovan Mitchell in Cleveland through at least the 2029-30 season.

Signed on the first day of his eligibility this summer, the deal includes a full trade kicker and a player option for 2030-31.

Mitchell, 29, passed on the chance to wait one more year for a potential five-year, $353 million contract.
