A majority stake deal in PT Enkripsi Teknologi Handal, previously branded as NOBI, has moved Indonesia into Bybit's direct-operation footprint.
The exchange, which ranks second globally by cryptocurrency trading volume, announced the Indonesian platform launch from its Dubai base on July 16, 2026. No financial terms for the acquisition were disclosed.
The acquisition Bybit took a controlling position in PT Enkripsi Teknologi Handal to build its Indonesian market presence.
The entity operated under the NOBI brand before the deal, giving Bybit a locally incorporated operator rather than a newly formed shell.
