The Atlanta Dream defeated the Indiana Fever 113-96 in Atlanta on Saturday — the second matchup between the two franchises in three days — as Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark engaged in another on-court confrontation, adding tension to an increasingly charged rivalry.
Clark led all scorers with 26 points but committed seven turnovers, while Reese contributed 18 points and eight rebounds as the Dream stretched their season-series lead over Indiana to 2-1.
First-Quarter Flash Point The latest exchange unfolded in the first quarter after Clark brought the ball up the floor and was fouled near the top of the key by Dream guard Jordin Canada.
While play was stopped, Reese took a swipe at the ball in Clark's hands. Clark took exception to the move and eventually waved Reese off.
