Tesla Inc. delivered 486,532 vehicles in the third quarter of 2026, a figure that includes 478,237 units of the Model 3 and Model Y, according to the company's operational update. The automaker produced 464,391 vehicles during the same period and deployed 13.7 GWh of energy storage products.

The Model 3 and Model Y accounted for the vast majority of deliveries, with 478,237 units subject to operating lease accounting representing 1% of that segment's total. Other models contributed 8,295 deliveries, of which 4% were subject to operating lease accounting. Total production for the quarter stood at 464,391 vehicles, with the Model 3 and Model Y comprising 457,387 units.

Tesla stated that vehicle deliveries and storage deployments are only two measures of its financial performance and should not be relied upon as an indicator of quarterly financial results. The company noted that actual financial outcomes depend on various factors, including average selling price, cost of sales, and foreign exchange movements, which will be disclosed in its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.

The company will announce its net income and cash flow results alongside its broader financial performance when it reports Q3 earnings. Tesla plans to post these financial results after market close on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. At that time, the company will issue a brief advisory containing a link to the Q3 2026 update on its Investor Relations website.

Tesla management will hold a live question and answer webcast on October 21 at 4:30 p.m. Central Time (5:30 p.m. Eastern Time) to discuss the company's financial and business results and outlook. An archived version of the webcast will be available on the company's website approximately two hours after the session concludes.
