Pakistan's army chief, Asim Munir, conveyed a final United States ultimatum to Tehran during a visit yesterday. The demand, described in leaks cited by Al-Akhbar, required Iran to surrender its entire nuclear program or face large-scale attacks primarily targeting the Pickaxe Mountain nuclear site.
Iran rejected the ultimatum. According to the reports, Iranian officials told Munir that the United States must accept Iran's seven conditions. The Iranian side also instructed Munir to return to his aircraft.
Rezaei, the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated that no enriched nuclear material would leave Iran. He added that there would be no return to talks until the United States meets all of Iran's conditions.
