Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., who would take over the House Oversight Committee in a Democratic majority, said he is already coordinating with Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., the presumptive House Judiciary Committee chairman, on several investigations. Garcia named Trump family finances, the Jeffrey Epstein files, ICE and DHS operations, corporate and CEO misconduct, and the management of vaccine programs under Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. as priorities he is actively examining.
Raskin has already begun laying groundwork, sending requests for information on the business dealings of Jared Kushner, Donald Trump Jr., and FBI Director Kash Patel. He told Fox News Digital that Judiciary Democrats are "already following the evidence wherever it leads."
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., has declined to commit publicly to impeachment when asked.
