Brooke Hogan has accused unnamed friends and family members of exploiting her late father, Hulk Hogan, as his 5,400-square-foot beachfront mansion in Clearwater Beach sold for $5.9 million. The property, originally listed for nearly $11 million in January, found a buyer last week, according to TMZ, while a neighboring guest cottage sold separately for $2.8 million. Terry Bollea, known to the world as Hulk Hogan, died at age 71 in July 2025 following a cardiac arrest at the same residence. His cause of death was subsequently determined to be a heart attack.

In a series of posts on Instagram Stories, the 38-year-old TV personality expressed grief over the sale of the home where she and her father shared many memories. She described the house as the place where Hulk and his ex-wife, Jennifer McDaniel, envisioned growing old together. Brooke detailed specific recollections, including pool days, the smell of gasoline in the garage, and hours spent sitting next to her father in the chair where he died. She emphasized that she and McDaniel acted as his primary caregivers during his health struggles, managing medications and hospital visits.

Brooke directed her criticism at individuals she characterized as "fake" and "greedy," claiming they only appeared at the end of her father's life to collect. She contrasted their behavior with her own dedication, stating that she "tracked every med" and stayed by his side through multiple surgeries. She highlighted McDaniel's role in his care, noting that the former stepmother spent significant time in the trenches of his medical battles and asked for nothing after their 2021 split. Brooke described McDaniel as a source of "pure love and grace" who remained devoted until Hulk's final breath.

The "Brooke Knows Best" star also addressed the public tributes held for her father, including a 10-bell salute on WWE SmackDown in July 2025. She alleged that many of the people who participated in these public ceremonies had not stayed more than an hour in the hospital or had not shown up at all. She asserted that these individuals were motivated by the desire to be seen on camera rather than by genuine care for her father. Brooke pushed back against interpretations that her comments targeted WWE stars specifically, clarifying in a follow-up post that she had no beef with them. Instead, she focused on "so-called friends" and family members who profited from his fame.

Her comments come amid a long-standing estrangement from Hulk Hogan that persisted through the final two years of his life. In July 2023, Hulk amended his will to exclude Brooke and her descendants, naming her brother Nick as the sole beneficiary of his probate estate. Brooke has maintained that their separation resulted from a series of respectful disagreements rather than a single incident. She previously stated that she asked to be removed from his will to avoid an anticipated battle over his fortune, citing past experiences with family members fighting over money.
