Tetra4 Proprietary Limited, a subsidiary of Renergen Limited, has completed commissioning and reached stable production of liquid helium at the Virginia Gas Project. ASP Isotopes Inc. (NASDAQ: ASPI) disclosed that the helium is currently building up in Tetra4’s cryogenic storage as the company prepares for the first shipments to its contracted buyers.

The facility, which holds South Africa’s first onshore petroleum production right, is the country’s first integrated producer of both liquid helium and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Paul Mann, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ASP Isotopes and Renergen, described the stable production as a defining milestone for both companies. He noted that global helium supply faces significant pressure, making a new independent source important, and stated that offtake partners had been anticipating this development. Mann added that the company is ramping toward nameplate capacity, which it expects to reach in the fourth quarter of 2026, while finalizing logistics for initial deliveries.

Phase 1 of the project is expected to produce approximately 2,500 GJ/day of LNG and approximately 70 Mcf/day of liquid helium. The announcement was filed as an exhibit to an 8-K and relates to proposed merger transactions involving ENDRA Life Sciences Inc., ASP Isotopes, Renergen, and Noble Africa LLC. ENDRA has filed a registration statement on Form S-4 with the SEC, which includes a proxy statement and prospectus. The release urges investors to read these documents carefully, as they contain important information regarding the proposed transactions.

ASP Isotopes is an advanced materials company focused on developing technologies for the production of critical materials used in nuclear medicine, electronics, and nuclear energy. The company operates isotope enrichment facilities in Pretoria, South Africa, and a gas production facility in Free State Province. Renergen Limited, incorporated in South Africa, holds a 94.5% equity interest in Tetra4 Proprietary Limited. Tetra4 owns the onshore petroleum production right and is engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas, processing it into LNG and liquid helium in Free State Province.
