South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer announced an indefinite suspension for edge rusher Dylan Stewart on Sunday, following the player's ejection during a 49-14 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday.
Stewart was removed from the game after punching tight end Josh Ford's helmet and subsequently arguing with coaches on the sideline.
Beamer stated that Stewart will not play in the upcoming Saturday game against Kentucky, though he indicated a final decision on the player's future beyond the current week is pending further meetings.
