House Democrats plan sweeping investigations of Trump, DoD spending if they flip the majority

House Democrats are mapping out an aggressive post-election investigation agenda, with the midterms two months away and historical trends running against the party in the White House.

Defense spending, Trump family finances, and federal agency oversight are the named targets should Democrats flip the House in November.

Jason Crow, D-Colo., who sits on the House Armed Services and Intelligence committees and co-chairs the House Anti-Corruption Caucus, said his first focus would be the Department of Defense.

Crow told Fox News Digital he plans to examine what he described as corruption, incompetence, and nepotism at the Pentagon, including reports of defense appropriations being directed toward companies with ties to the Trump family.
