The acquisition of Interior Savings Insurance adds another book of business to Westland Insurance, one of Canada's largest insurance companies.
The announcement came August 6 from Surrey, British Columbia, issued through Globe Newswire on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples (Kwantlen, Katzie, Semiahmoo and Tsawwassen First Nations).
No purchase price or financial terms were disclosed. What the deal covers Interior Savings Insurance's client relationships now sit inside the Westland operation.
The initial release carried no figures: no book size, and no geographic picture of where Interior Savings Insurance operates within British Columbia.
