dollars and those funds convert into won, the resulting supply weighs on the dollar side of the pair. That is the mechanical piece of the story, and it reflects realized demand rather than expectation.
The corporate treasury activity is the more deliberate signal. Local South Korean companies selling dollars during the session made a discretionary call: 1,376.50 was favorable enough to convert holdings today.
