Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has moved to replace her Porsche GTS after the vehicle was stolen from her Chicago-area home and subsequently recovered.
The former athlete disclosed the incident on TikTok, noting that while the car was returned, the experience of having three masked men enter her property made her uncomfortable driving the vehicle again.
The replacement purchase is a direct response to the security breach and the lingering stigma attached to the recovered car's history.
The theft occurred during Biles and her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens, recent months in Chicago.
