A network exploit on Ravencoin (RVN) has pushed the asset to a record low, with the pressure originating inside the protocol rather than from any broader market move.

Mining pools that collectively control most of the network's hash rate are building a competing chain.

That chain, if it reaches sufficient length, would trigger a three-day reorganization of Ravencoin's transaction history.

The mechanism on chain A blockchain reorganization happens when a longer alternative chain replaces the existing one, invalidating the transaction records it overwrites.
