While nearly everyone on the card has an NXT background, exceptions include Roman Reigns, who began his career in Florida Championship Wrestling before NXT was founded, and CM Punk, who made his name outside WWE through Ohio Valley Wrestling.
Penta also did not compete in NXT, having built a reputation in Mexico before receiving significant screen time on American programming.
