Microsoft has redesigned its Photos app for Windows 11 to consolidate images and videos from local storage, OneDrive, and iCloud into a single browsing environment.
The update overhauls the image editor and viewer while aiming to improve application launch and scrolling performance.
The company states the combined gallery is intended to simplify photo management by eliminating the need to switch between different apps or devices.
To access this unified view, users must enable Camera Backup in the OneDrive mobile app on iOS or Android devices. Additionally, users are required to follow Apple's guide to configure iCloud for Windows.
