A $29 million funding round for Singapore-based Lingverse brings a new class of wearable AI into focus.
The company is developing iKairos, a device it describes as a proactive AI guardian that can rotate its camera toward the wearer or the surrounding environment, gathering context to offer assistance before a user asks.

Its dual-view camera shifts between the person using it and the nearby environment, and Lingverse says that two-way perspective gives the AI more context about what is happening in someone's day, which in turn lets it choose a better moment to step in.
