Two crypto billionaires, Ben Delo and Christopher Harborne, have each donated £36 million to Nigel Farage's Reform UK party.
The two contributions, matched in size, bring a combined £72 million from the digital-asset world into British political finance.
They arrive at the same moment the House of Lords is considering legislation that would ban crypto donations to political parties and cap overseas giving at £100,000 a year.
